Earth Hour

This Saturday, March 26, 2011 from 8:30-9:30pm, people from all over the world will be participating in Earth Hour. You can participate too by turning off your lights and electronics for one hour this Saturday.

Earth Hour was originally started in Sydney, Australia and spread worldwide as a way to show political leaders the need for strong climate legislation. Last year, hundreds of millions of people participated in Earth Hour in 128 countries. The purpose of Earth Hour is to raise awareness and give everyone a reason to work together towards a sustainable planet just for one hour out of the whole year.
