Art and Global Warming

350 EARTH is a project launched by 350 that shows the kind of power the arts can have in the call for climate change solutions.
350 EARTH has become the largest global art project ever seen. Places like Santa Fe, Spain, Mexico, Netherlands, Dominican Republic, New Delhi, Cancun, Canada and Egypt are participating. Even Thom Yorke, the lead singer of Radiohead is organizing an event in the UK.
For example, students in Mumbai will get together in the shape of an elephant to represent the "elephant in the room". With the elephant symbolizing climate change.
Artists in Iceland have arranged tents in the shape of a polar bear at the foot of a receding glacier plan.
This is one of the many kinds of tactics that are being used in this fight for climate change solutions. This is not an easy fight so getting creative is a great way to reach people.
